Around My World
in Eighty Poems
Are you one of those people who says, "No,
no, no! Poetry
is not for me. It's boring, pretentious, irrelevant..."?
I know I am. Don't you just hate all of
that nonsense?
I do.
Which is why I have
written my own poems and published some of them in this book.
There is humour, sadness, little ditties, short stories, and even attempts at
lyrics, all in rhyme (except a couple)
What there isn't, is
pretension towards being the next poet laureate, which I'm not and never will
be. I just seem to have a flair for writing rhyme in a light, easy-to-read
style.
You don't have to
buy it but, if you don't, you'll never know:
* What happened when Suzy
Luger blew into town...
* What's so scary about the Plaster Saw...
* How come Rosemary Darcy was such crowd-puller...
* What was all the Ding-Dong about at Christmas...

Yes, there really are
eighty poems in this book.
