CUMMERBUNDS - BEFORE YOU BUY
I DO NOT
MAKE CUMMERBUNDS, AND I NEVER HAVE.
I buy them from a wholesale source and embroider them to order.
When I receive them,
they are complete and I embroider them on one side only, through the whole
The results are excellent but it does mean that the back of the cummerbund is likely to look a bit like this.
This is the way
embroidery ALWAYS looks on the back. Of anything.
It is not frayed.
It is not unfinished.
It is not poor workmanship.
IT IS NORMAL.
As it is never seen
in normal use, (like the embroidery on a shirt for example)
it is not going to affect the look of the item when it is being worn.
Since 2004 I have
produced, quite literally, hundreds - possibly thousands - of these
and have many
satisfied and repeat customers,
from private citizens to admirals, from individuals to organisations.
Rest assured, that the standard of the embroidery is as high as I can make it
and that the cummerbunds themselves are of excellent quality.
I do not dismantle
garments before embroidering them so, if you really do
feel the need to go to all the extra expense
of buying a cummerbund where the
bit you don't see is hidden
(or you want a double-sided cummerbund)
you will need to get it from someone who manufactures cummerbunds and embroiders
them during that process.
Sorry, that's not me.
